"How Incredibly Perfect”, was my first thought upon viewing this piece of art. It was a family portrait of a Black family. All members were black and there was an expectant mother, a young daughter and a father in the picture as well. It was as though we were the very subjects the artist had in mind when she was rendering the image. Besides being emotionally drawn to the piece, for obvious reasons, I was also drawn maternally as well. I was incredibly pleased to have come across a piece that was truly rare and representative.
